AccessVault is a desktop app for database access management and audit readiness, currently in beta for macOS. It also acts as an auditable bridge between an MCP client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop) and your PostgreSQL databases: every AI-issued query is typed, routed through your machine, and recorded in an audit log before results are returned — never a direct, unlogged connection.

  • Auditable AI access — every query the AI runs is written to an append-only audit log before results come back, even when the query fails.
  • Credential + SSH vault — connection secrets live in the macOS Keychain; reach private databases through an SSH tunnel.
  • Full DBA toolkit — overview, table browser, user & privilege management, monitoring, privilege analysis, and a 30-check audit-readiness scanner.

AccessVault supports PostgreSQL today; MySQL support is coming soon. Windows and Linux builds are planned.
